About Us
Silver Infocomm Junction (SIJ)
@ i-Clickz Club was set up in March 2010, in partnership with
Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), with the aim
of building an iNclusive Digital Society. Teaching senior to go
wi-fi is one of the objectives of iN2015 vision. SIJ is a
senior-friendly learning hubs located in the heartlands, where
seniors can learn to make voice-calls over Internet, meet
friends online and play computer games.
NorthEast-Tampines West IT
Centre was established in 2001 with the objective to bring
information technology within easy access to Singaporeans in the
northeastern region, especially Tampines, empowering them to be
IT-ready citizens. Our mission is to bridge IT literacy across
all ages. This is in line with IDA’s Silver
Infocomm Initiative (SII) which aims to raise the awareness
level of the senior citizens on infocomm technologies and
encourage them to adopt an infocomm-enabled lifestyle, as well
as equip them with the necessary skillsets
through training and providing access.
We participated
in the launch of National Literacy Technology Learning Program (NLTLP)
in 2001. We were also one of the 7 eClubs in Singapore. We
partner the Infocommunication Development Authority (IDA) to
bring residents the one-stop eCitizen portal services for
government related services. Together with the Inland Revenue
Authority of Singapore and the assistance of volunteer e-filers,
we bring the convenience and ease of efiling income tax returns
closer to home.
